How It Works

Our Nurse Delegation Process:

  • Orientation & Requirement Check — ensuring they meet prerequisites (basic training, background etc.).
  • Classroom / Virtual Learning — rules, theory, state regulation.
  • Hands-on Skills Training — demonstration and practice under instructor supervision.
  • Certification / Assessment — written & skills test.
  • Refreshers / Updates as needed (especially when protocols/regulations change).

What the Training Includes:

  • Courses in nurse delegation fundamentals—what tasks can be delegated, legal / safety issues.
  • Skills training: wound dressing, injections, diabetes monitoring, etc. (as per local/state rules).
  • Certification modules: e.g. 9-hour delegation certification, 3-hour diabetes education (or similar, adapted to Oregon/WA).
  • Ongoing competency testing / refreshers.

How to Enroll:
